Retired from the road.
Ready for the wall.

This is the real deal — an original T25 Triumph tank, lovingly retired from road duty and reborn as a bold, head-turning piece of wall art. No prints. No replicas. No “inspired by”. Just pure Triumph attitude, bolted to solid wood and ready to make its presence felt.

The tank has been professionally paint-sprayed in a chequerboard racing livery — black and white, graphic and unambiguous, the kind of finish that belongs on a starting grid. The original Triumph badge sits exactly where it always did, lovingly polished and given the TLC it deserved — brought back to its best without a trace of artifice.

It is mounted on a solid wood backboard — dark, substantial, doing precisely what a backboard should do without drawing attention to itself. Four pre-drilled fixing points make hanging straightforward. Fixings not supplied, because walls are like opinions: everyone’s is different. Installation may be available by arrangement — just ask.

Made by Leigh Kelsey — artist, lifelong petrolhead and someone who managed to get an endorsement on his licence before he actually had one. He understands what these machines mean. That understanding is in the work.

If owning a full Triumph isn’t on the cards right now, this is the next best thing. Arguably cooler, in fact — because it doesn’t leak oil on your floor.

On the Construction

The backboard is solid wood — not a panel that will warp, flex or quietly apologise for itself over time. The tank is mounted directly to it, projecting from the wall with the weight and presence of the real object. Because it is the real object.

The original Triumph badge has been lovingly polished and restored — given the attention it deserved after years of road duty. It looks exactly as it should.

On Placement

At 86 cm tall the backboard is a considered presence — substantial enough to own a wall, restrained enough not to bully one. It works above a workbench, beside a doorway or in a living room with the confidence to accommodate something genuinely interesting. Four fixing points make it straightforward to hang level.

It will attract a certain kind of reverence from people who know their bikes. From those who don’t, it will simply prompt the question: “Blimey — what’s that?” Both reactions are entirely acceptable.

One piece. No replicas.
